Communal Pet... for a day

I found this little guy in my garden and our neighbour caught him after a good chase (and lots of screaming...)... the kids played together for hours, planning his habitat and thinking how to take care of him....  In the end, I was the "big heavy" and cut him loose.  I read that frogs can die from stress; moreover, who's gonna catch live bugs for him to eat....every day??  Not I, said the weary mom... and so, the little frog was released back into the wild, where he's planning to re-locate as soon as the next big rain falls.
